Because my 6 year surgery/anniversary is almost here I am compelled to continue here wih this post. From the 16th of Oct-2006 to surgery on the 26th of Oct I was and still am amazed. My journey began with alot of investigative work and searching and validating of the credentials as well as double checking my head for sanity. I am still, very happy I made the choice to go for it even tho I continue to battle my head for more food. I have NEVER had a fill, that was a decision I made before surgery and 6 years later I still have restriction and the only real probelm is the same as the old problem. I DO NOT know how to eat like a normal person so I continue to try and do my best as I do. The pain is more than I want but then again I DO NOT want to be OBESE anymore ever........ I feel good today and I like me. I want to lose more but then again I am a realist and am very happy where I am right now. I remember the Dr telling me at surgery date still, do not stretch out your band and this is and has been my effort since day 1. I believe my stomach is bigger than it was then but still not more than 2 eggs :) crazy right. I eat whever I want annytime I want. Course I try to live by the code - No fried food, no white food and of course No Sugar. Stay away from chocloate and ice cream and the rest is history. Not looking for a miracle just help in not exploding with weight gain.
