One of my closest friends had the lapband surgery. One night we were talking on the phone and a lapband commercial came on. I made the comment, "I wish I could have that done, but there is no way I could afford it." At that time, I did not know that she had the lapband surgery (she told everyone she had hernia surgery). She then told me that she had the lapband surgery and it was the best thing she had ever done for herself. We talked for hours that night as she gave me tons of information. The next week I scheduled myself for a seminar.Weight has been a problem for me my entire life. I have always been a "yo-yo dieter." As I have gotten older, it seems that my weight has gone completely out of control. I do not want to turn 40 and be obese and unhealthy. I have never minded eating healthy, I just can't seem to get full. I think that the lapband will be the perfect solution for me.
