I was having acid reflux and had to have an unfill. After 6 weeks he finally would put 2cc's in. There was no restriction, I couldn't even tell that I had the band! I went back 3 weeks later and my barium swallow wouldn't go down. I can eat anything and everything and don't feel full yet he refuses to give me a fill. I've gained 12 pounds since my unfill. I can't continue like this, I'll be back where I was prior to surgery! Anybody have any advice?

I just saw your post from Feb. Do you mind telling me whats going on now? What did they have to do to fix it?

Lately I have been waking up at night coughing and feel like I'm choking. I thought it was sinus/allergy drainage but it only happens at night when I'm laying flat. I've even been vomiting in my mouth as I'm coughing. Is it possible this is due to the band or I'm eating to late at night? Ihad surgery two years ago and have had zero problems so far which is why I'm confused. Not sure if I need to see my primary care doctor for allergy medicine or Dr. Spiegel.
