Hello! Surgey went well. I'm 1 week post-op now and feel alot better. Still having a little bathroom issues :thumbdown: and some port pain :crying: but I guess thats normal. I can't wait till I'm 100% better so I can get out there and start excercising, I walk now but somewhat of a slow paced walk. It gets old. However I have lost 22 lbs so far!!! :thumbup:
Congrats on getting approved!! I bet your real excited huh. Where are you getting it done?

Did you guys start to go #2?? Sorry if it's TMI but I was banded on Friday and I haven't #2 yet is this normal. I'm guessing it would be since your not getting any food in but I was curious how long it took everyone else and did you have to take laxatives or fiber etc... -

Whoa! Sounds alot like what I'm going through now. I was banded on Friday the 16th. I had a hernia repair done as well and sometimes I wonder if thats whats hurting me, don't think it's the port though then again I'm not sure. I was also wondering if the back pain was normal and I guess my question has been answered :tt2: -

I started my pre-op diet today. I'm excited but very nervous. Nervous because it means I'm that much closer to my surgery date. I've never had any kind of surgery before so this will be the first one. My pre-op diet isn't so bad. I can have chicken, salad, veggies, broth for dinner and a protien shake for Breakfast and lunch and drink Water all through out the day. So I'm one of the lucky ones now all I have to do is be strong and get through my day without food.
