For about 3 yrs I've been watching what I ate and was calorie restricted and I still kept the wieght on and developed physical ailments. I began to experience elevated blood pressure, pre-diabetes and edema in the feet and hands this past summer/fall. It got to the point where I couldn't do my job anymore, but I didn't want to tell work that! When my regular doctor put me on HCTZ (for blood pressure and edema) and Crestor for colesterol, I knew it was time for me to do something about it. I finally wanted to talk about getting healthy again. I needed help. I am soooo glad that I decided to do this! As of 2nd week post-op I no longer take Crestor and soon I'll be off of the HCTZ!! I feel I'm on the right track to maintain my good health (now that I've gotten some back)!! 30lbs and going!! YAY!!
