    Help!!!

Thanks bambam, appreciate the support and encouragement!! I'm now on day 3 and I'm happy to say that my family is still alive and I haven't gnawed my own arm off yet!! I'm just hoping that after today or tomorrow, that I'll have more energy and not be as grumpy!!

    Day 7 of 10 day Pre-op diet......

I am right there with you!!! I am on day 2 of my 2 week pre-op liquid diet and I'm dying!!! I feel like my stomach is about to start eating itself!! I'm allowed 4-5 protein shakes, all the sugar free jello, pudding and popsicles I want and water. I have NO energy, I'm starving, I'm having terrible headaches and I'm grumpy!!!!! I'm hoping and praying that it gets better as I go along. Good luck to you!!

    Can we talk pre-op diets?

I'm a little afraid of the pre-op diet, myself. My surgery is scheduled for May 10, which means that I start my pre-op diet on April 26. I'm supposed to have 4-5 protein shakes per day and that's all. Yuck!!! I'm already dreading it!! But I read someone's post that said they had to do it for 60 days, so I feel very fortunate.:frown:
  6. Hi, I'm 37 years old, married, mother of 3 beautiful girls and have been overweight my entire life. I remember being in kindergarten and realizing then, that I was bigger then everyone else. I attended my first Weight Watchers meeting at the age of 10 and have been fighting this battle ever since. I have completed my pre-op requirements and have been scheduled for surgery on May 10th. I'm excited, scared, but most of all ready!!! I guess I'm more afraid that I will fail at this attempt to lose weight as well as every other time I've tried. I have read over many posts and have been both educated and encouraged as well as, a little afraid of what all of you have written. But I feel that the more information I have, the more equipped I'll be for my journey. I look forward to reading more of your posts and seeing the successes, as well as posting my own successes.
