New and NervousI am 37 years old, the mother of 3 beautiful daughers and overweight my entire life!!  I remember looking at the kids around me in kindergarten and I knew then, I was bigger then everyone else.  I went to my first Weight Watchers meeting at the age of 10 and have struggled every day with my weight!  I have completed all of my pre-op requirements and am scheduled for my surgery on May 10th.  It's exciting and scary to think that, at 37, I will just begin to live, at least the life I want to live that is not controlled by food.  I'm pretty nervous about the procedure and all of the things that can go wrong, just because if it can go wrong, it usually does with me.  But I'm trying to have a positive attitude and trying my very best to not be a failure at this attempt to lose weight as well.I've read through many of your posts and have drawn both strength and encouragement from them.  I look forward to keeping up to date with everyone's progress and to share mine as well!!!
