I'm 48 and have been struggling with my weight for most of my adult life.  I've been on fad diets and also Nutra System, and Weight Watchers, yes I do lose a good amount of weight but after awhile I find myself putting the weight right back on.  I feel like I have tried everything but the weight always comes back.  I've heard about the lap band for a few years now but wasn't ready for surgery, but when I found a surgeon that I really trusted I knew it was the right time.  I'm looking forward to this journey, it will be a different one but very exciting.
