I went to several doc's before picking the one I did. I thought about going to Mexico and tg I didn't because finding someone to fill the bands in my area that they didn't do the surgery was impossible

if it is anything like mine was it was a lot of gas. If you are eatting slow and small bites then watch what you eat some foods might give you gas

I found so really good protien powder 100 cal. at the health food store and it is Mango flavored and I used the slim fast as well. next I went and bought a Magic Bullett and pretend they are all shakes. Hope this helps a little

well I could kick myself because when I had my band filled I did not know what to expect and was scared and I thought I had enough fill and didn't because now I stay hungry all the time. When I had my surgery he said they put air in not filler and he let the air out and put fill in on my first fill. I called his office back and was told it was normal to be hungry just eat I cried for a couple of days because the hunger and not wanting to gain the weight back. I am not happy you are hungry too but I am glad I have someone to talk to that is going through kind of the same thing

I start my day with a protein shake with 1/4 fresh fruit mixed with it mid day I have a couple of hard boiled eggs once in a while if I can I turn the hard boiled eggs into develed eggs lunch I usually have soup split pea-tomato or bean with bacon those were the least abount of calories and they have them in the can that is ready to go so I just heat it in the afternoon if I get hungry I found some beef sticks at the health food store 15g of protein no fat dinner I have some kind of fish usually salmon and if I'm not full I have green veggies an hour after dinner another protein shake I found limonaide flavor and its really good

your guys may want to call your doctors. They say have the band filled about 4-6 weeks sounds like you are ready for a fill. The first fill doesn't hurt just make sure the doctor explains what kind of a feeling you should have when he/she fills it

I was on 40 g of protein a day and lost a pound a day. When I went to the doctor this week he told me to increase the protein to 70 - 80 g per day to aid in the weight loss. I found fruit flavored protein and I don't seem to have as much gas

I am glad its over for you. I agree not bad but I was so scared and didn't know what to expect I dont think I got enough fill. I called the doctors office back and they are still going to make me wait a month to come in for the next one. I am glad it went well for you

remember3 days out you still have a lot of swelling. I was told by my Dr. that the first month while the swelling is still there no more than an oz at a time

I have BS of Calif and it took 3 days and was approved on the first try. Good Luck hope your goes through as quick
