    Tracking obsessively?

Help! although my doctor said 'take it easy' with the weighing, I find myself weighing myself once, twice a day! I think I've lost 14 pounds, and then it's really 13.5. I'm a real 'numbers' person and this drives me nuts! Should I toss the scale out, or is it important to have it, and I just need to have some control? I was banded 10/6 and I'm trying to accept the learning process. I love the cute little tickers in the signature, but I'm afraid it'll make me crazy to do that too! Thanks! - m

    Guess my Weight

Weight numbers are tricky and it is SO hard to judge, seriously! When I was in college and relatively 'thin' (after my first Weight Watchers bout, but in nice tight jeans and tucking in my shirts) I was still clocking in at 185-190 or so, in a size 12-14. I'm tall and large-framed (strapping Russian/Polish gene pool), so we carry lots of weight. I NEVER deal in numbers, and am always hazy about them. People tend to mean well. You've lost, you've done great. Don't let some thoughtlessness get you down! - M
  5. Hi! I was banded on 10/6 at Lenox Hill and I've lost, depending on my obsessive weigh ins 13 or 14 pounds. I'm in NY and have started a weight-loss blog (see my signature). I like to hang out with the Texans at the DFY Bandsters group. My goals are to get enough protein and stop weighing myself obsessively, and to keep working out as much as I can. And a few other things along the way!
