I'm In for 12 lbs currently 271 down from 305 when had surgery in Feb. 2010

Count me in, its my first challenge. I will say 10lbs by Mothers day.

I have been lurking on the board since last year, and finally decided to join. I went for my first appointment in October of last year, went through all the insurance requirments, and then was approved for surgery the end of January. I was banded on February 4, 2010 by Dr. Joseph Cribbins, Plano, TX. I had my first fill on March 15, 2010, but had to go back to get some fill removed on March 17, 2010. My starting weight was 305, I am now 280. My goal is 170 lbs. I am Michelle, I work full-time and have twin daughters who are almost 5 years old.

Current weight and goal weight? 280 170 #7. What was your deciding factor for having this surgery? Health reasons, high blood pressure, and want to be healthy to be able to do things with my children. #7. Do you have the support of family and friends? yes from family and friends. #8. Concerns and questions? A few, but I think I know some, but not all. .......................and anything else you would like to add! Its going to be a long journey, but I know I can do it.
