I tried several years ago to get the bypass done, but my insurance would not pay for this.  Currently I work for a hospital which just this year added the payment for this surgery to their insurance plan.    It was required that I do a 6 month diet for the plan.  This will be up the first of April.  It is necessary that I have a psych appt., meet the nutritionist, and have a scope and bloodwork done.  At least now I know it is coming and I am not in for another letdown.
