  1. I talked with a lady at work who has had the band for 4 years (she has lost about 120 pounds) and she told me this is the hardest part...getting through until we start to get fills. She says it gets alot easier then to feel satisfied. She also says there are still some things she cant eat, fibrous types of food like asparagus and pineapple. She says she loves both so much she chews and chews and chews it, then spits out the pulp. Seems kind of gross, but, who knows, somewhere down the line I may really, really, really need a taste of pepporoni pizza (lol)!

Anyway, glad things are going well for you! I have found that each day the pain/soreness was a little less, and I have had a little more energy...I started walking at lunch again last week, and am back up to 30-40 minutes a day of walking....I do find that even going slightly uphill makes my stomach muscles a little sore, but thinking that will go away soon...by the way, my name is Lori. ttyl
