It was nice to hear from you. My port site was tender for about a week, and even now it "pinches" sometimes...Yes, I agree, the liquid thing sucks. I have my two week post op tomorrow with surgeon, and meet with the nutritionist. I get to move to the soft food stage after that (I think this is what some people call "mushies").
4 pounds is great! I am down 12 pounds now, but that has leveled off in the last several days. I started to try to keep track of my calories a few days ago, and am only about 900, so not sure if my body thinks it is starving----I sure do! I'm hungry most of the time at some level.
