    Ugh! I'd rather starve!!

    I was allowed egg drop soup as long as I strained the egg pieces out... My throat hurt post op from the anesthesia tube as well but you are pretty far out for that pain- maybe it is a cold?
  3. Previous posters are right... when I was on mushies I had a weak moment where I decided that fritos doused in jalepono cheese dip was a mushie as long as I chewed it up well.... OMG did I feel horrible after that (and it was just a little snack pak size fritos)... but I am 2 1/2 mths out and it does get easier

    pfrance... try and squeeze even 15mins in this week! That's what I did, started small and now I am adding five minutes a week... Even if you do a five minute march in place while watching TV or walk around the block....

    Congrats on the loss Froggie! I love this thread... you guys are totally motivating me (ok maybe I am biased since I started it ) Did 15 mins of glutes and hamstrings this am 20 mins of elliptical, 10 mins cycle this pm 75/175

    15 minutes of legs in the am, 15 mins of yoga pm.... there is a muscle on my thigh/butt that I forgot I had and it HURTS!!!! Sandra- I don't get the push to fail... can you elaborate? BTW I am impressed with 60 on the elliptical I did 45 the other day and thought I was going to die!

    20 minute walk, 40 minutes of Biggest Loser Cardio Max- holy crap that is a good workout!!! I need five minutes more for my goal - gonna do a quick WII workout this evening. Next week shooting for 175 decided to increase by five minutes a week. 165/170
  10. I was banded the 27th and have had two fills- going to get another in 2 weeks... Why isn't your doc giving you fills? I also do not have restriction and my weight loss has slowed to a crawl this last month... But I am working on it- trying to increase my exercise... trying to make healthier choices. I don't have the willpower that some of the ladies on this board do (kudos to them) so I understand how hard it is. Just keep focused on the prize and don't let the negative thinking take over. Even if you lose 5 lbs a month in 10 months thats 50 lbs!!!

    I had the same pains too around the same time you did. I never found out what it was but it did pass. Feel better!

    Nothing stays down

    My neighbor had a similar problem. He lost all his weight plus more- was about a little over a year out- he then started throwing up and was unable to keep anything down. They found the band had slipped and actually had to have it removed.

    Thanks for your responses.... I got 1cc yesterday for a total of 6cc and I have minimal restriction... meaning I can't eat what I did pre-band but I sure can eat more than I am supposed to.

    32 minutes today of WII fit again... Having a crappy day though I feel good but when I got on scale I gained 5lb! WTF.... Go for fill tomorrow will see if it is a fluke or not. I was so wanting a nice loss for the doc. 5lb in one day seems crazy I would of had to eat a house. 63/170

    Cigna Insurance Approval

    Cigna sucks.... I used to have them and they played so many games to avoid approving my surgery... missing this... 90 days to review... missing this.... another 30 days.... totally awful.... they actually won the fight cause my insurance switched- new company approved it in one day.

    OK it is over 100 degrees here-- My apartment is ridiculously hot... I thin if I just sit here I will burn enough calories to make up for the fact that I am not exercising today LOL.... Glad to see everyone aboard! Juliansmom dont beat yourself up just jump back on the saddle...

  19. So I have been struggling or rather slacking a bit with my exercise... I have decided that if I post my weekly goals than maybe I will be more accountable to myself since I don't like failing in public :thumbup: Anyone is welcome to join me Next week I am shooting for 150 minutes of exercise. I will post my progress periodically through the week. Week starts tomorrow! (Sunday)

    1 month post op weight gain

    I understand the home thing- home is the worst for me as well. I am in bandster hell and it is tough. I did a few things to help with this ... I got rid of the bad foods as much as I could, I post on here and hope that it passes and I exercise...

    Everything has changed.

    Great post- I still have a long ways to go before I see many of these things but I did notice yesterday at church that I was making butt bone to pew contact- it was cool lol...

    Swallowing Pills??

    My doc sent me home with pills for pain... I don't have any problems with any pills all- I take all my vitamins regular... I guess you have to see what works for you... I also don't have restriction yet so I realize this may change.
