Hello, im new to this so im going to try to be informative yet brief. I have been overweight since I was about 13. (I am 28 now).  I had a very good friend who had this lap band surgery done and she really did lose a lot of weight and because I really want to lose the weight, I decided to do it too.  I went to the same surgeon she went to and so far am actually very happy with him.  I am 3 weeks post OP right now.  In the begining when I was on the liquid diet I had a lot of pain which almost felt like acid indigestion, after taking pepcid and starting to eat, that went away and I can pretty much tolerate food very well.  I am having a serious cottonmouth issue though and my lips are very dry and my teeth feel slimey.  I have been drinkin about 2 liters of water a day now and putting vaseline on my lips and nothing helps me.  My tounge also feels very raw.  I had a bad taste in my mouth too, but that seems like its going away. Does anyone know whats going on? I need help. THANKS
