Congrats to you and ur huge success. I am in search for Onderland myself. I'm only 6lbs away but getting discouraged with all the holidays approaching. I have to stay focused and keep myself motivated, so I too can have another reason to celebrate. Not complaining @ all because the results I have had so far are amazing. And I would'nt change being banded for anything, even those not so great days I have once in awhile. Congrats to all who love themselves enough to want to get healthy........ :sneaky:

I know it sounds crazy but I don't own a scale, so I only weight in @ the doctor's office once a month. I can be pretty obsessive with the scale so I never bought one post op and I threw my previous one out when I was almost 300lbs.:sneaky:

I don't regret one minute of it. Sometimes I miss certain foods, but not enough to be morbidly obese again. As for the gas pain... The GasEx strips and lots for walking worked the best for me. Im still learning my band, but so far so good. Lots of luck and Congrats on considering ways to love yourself more by getting healthy.

Thank you so much for posting ur great pics and for ur encouraging words. This forum has saved my life. Everyone is so positive and motivated and that's exactly what I need to stay on track. I believe that I can accomplish anything with hard work and planning and that's what I'm going to do so I too can reach my goal weight and inspire others as you all have inspired me. I had LAPBAND surgery on April 14, 2010, so far so good. I'm down 47 lbs since surgery and pushing forward. Congrats to u all for ur success stories. Keep up the great work.:drool:

i was banded on wed april 14th and my dr wants me on clear liquids for 1 week then full liquids week 2 the pureed foods week 3 on to mushy foods week 4. ive been drinking lots of water, broth, jello and sugar free pops since wed. so far so good.:thumbup:

Banded on wed Apr 14th. Today has been good so far. Really gassy but the GasX strips are really helping. Still sore but moving around and trying to get my liquids in. Hopefully I'll make it outside tomorrow for some fresh air. Congrats to all who have been banded and good luck to those who are still waiting to be banded.:thumbup:

congrats to all who have crossed over to bandland. I can't wait to join u guys. This has been a wonderful journey for me and now it's countdown to April 14. I'm so excited and nervous but I know it's worth it. I luv reading everyone's posts. So many of my questions and concerns are answered daily on this forum. It has really helped me thru my journey and I really appreciate all of u. Thanks:thumbup:

I'm scheduled for surgery on the 14th of April and I'm going thru the outpatient dept at the hospital.

Congrats. I also have some great news and a lot of celebrating to do as well. I found out yesterday that I was approved for surgery and I finally have a date. APRIL 14 I will be banded. I so excited and nervous, but very happy. My journey is just beginning...

I finished my 6 months of nutrition visits last thurs. I'm still waiting for approval from my insurance co. My doctor doesn't want to give my a date til after the approval. I'm patiently waiting and very nervous about a possible denial. Keeping my fingers crossed for good news soon.

I'm actually new to the site as well. I have been reading posts for about seven months and I decided to join this evening. I had my last visit(number 6) with the nutritionist this evening and I'm am patiently waiting for approval as well. Good Luck.
