I have been struggling with my weight ever since my sophmore year in college. I am in the armyt been serving for three years now. I came in as a PFC, I should be SGT (E-5) or a SSG, but because my inability to lose weight even though going through rigorous exercise I have not been able to get the weight off. I am now barred from promotion, reenlistment, all favorable acts until i get the weight off. I got pregnant after doing a 13 month tour in Iraq and the weight from the pregnancy is now clinging to me. This was a last resort for me I am used to doing everything for myself and not waiting for help. Right now I am doing my best to get the blap band so I will be able to get promoted and be able to provide for my family like I need to.
