I started looking into the Lapband after my cousin had the procedure done in texas and lost 100 pounds.  She looks great and says she feels great.  I don't have that much to lose, but I am very uncomfortable with my current weight.  I finally made the decision to make the call.  It was kind of scary, because most of my friends said NOT to do it.  They said just eat right and exercise.  Well, I've been eating right and exercising for the past 9 years and I keep putting the weight back on and then some.  I've decided to put a stop to the yoyo weight gain and make a permanent change.  Wish me luck.  I'm fearful of going through surgery and having to learn a new way of eating, but I'm excited about living a more healthy and active lifestyle.
