No chewing gum? Really my doc never said anything about not chewing gum. I chew gum all day go to know this stuff. I don't think I got enough info from my dr. I am learning more here.

I had my band done February 24 on a Wednesday and went back to work on Monday. I also have a sit down job. I did pretty good that week I felt pretty good. I think we are all differnet I was up and walking that evening and trying to clean house. Key word trying the anesthesia kept me pretty silly. I was trying to wash dishes and fell asleep standing lol. Good luck to you.

Congrats!! Sip sip that's the way to go. I started walking the same day of my procedure just not to much but enough. I started walking as much as I could the next day went to SAMs grabbed a basket and walked. Walk walk as much as you can. I had mime done on a Wednesday went back to workthe following Monday. I am 30 days post op and I am liking it om right now. Not to sure when I will be in love with it soon I hope. I am thinking that I will love it when I get to go clothes shopping and it's not plus size deparment. That will be just a bit of a wait. MC

Mine was done feb 24 10 my dr said lots of walking nothing other than that. I go for my first fill tomorrow and am going to ask if I can do the Julian Michaels 30 day shred already. Will let you all know what the doc says.

Your appeal letter will depend on what insurance you have. Most insurance companies have appeals process that you have to follow. I would advise to find if your insurance covers the procedure if so ask what is the criteria is it may be that you are just lacking something small. If so then do what it still missing and have your doctor resubmit. MC
