My name is Ann and I have been overweight for some time. I decided that I wanted to do this surgery after I've seen the results of soooo many people and how happy they are now. I had a back injury and that was the start of my downward spiral. There is not enough room on this page to list all the reasons I can't lose weight on my own. I simply love to eat now that I have been on disability for two years. I can't walk past the refrigerator without opening it.My disability has run out and I am running out on this overweight train!! I want those things people don't mention. I want to be able to tuck in my shirt. I want to be able to wear a bathing suit that doesn't have a skirt on the front. I want to be able to wear skinny jeans and say "damn, I look gooooood". I want to be able to tie my shoes without getting exhausted.I have had enough of cakes, candies, brownies (goodbye my old friends) and I want to be able to smile and feel healthy and ride my bike. So simple, ride a bike. That's my story. Not a lot to tell. I have no reason for being fat, I just am. I hope to make friends along the way and compare some recipes and maybe meet up on the beach next summer!! ann marie
