They say that to consider Weight Loss Surgery, one must have exhausted every other method first. This I had done. I faced 300 pounds and said NO and started looking around for "a muzzle I can't take off" and this seemed to be it.
Curiously, it was the billboards for the dreadful cheap LAP BAND IN AN AFTERNOON type of clinic that put the idea into my head. However, I did NOT employ their services, but did extensive internet research to find the best service in the area, which happily was Cedars Sinai which has done well by my family for generations.
As I write this, it is just becoming the seventh day after my banding. The first week of the rest of my life.
