welcome to LBT. this is a relatively 'minor' surgery. normally takes about 45 mins or so. gas pains depend on the person... some people had them really bad, i didnt have any. best of luck to you and congrats on getting a surgery date! -

the only place i've really looked for it is on Amazon.com. i have their "prime membership" so i get it 2 day shipped for free. it is premade i throw it in the freezer for about 20-25 minutes and it tastes like a frap from starbucks ... soooooooo yummie. :biggrin::tt1::thumbup: i wouldnt heat it though, not sure how it would turn out. on the can it says to serve very cold.

well, i found out AFTER my surgery that Dr. P is probably about 71 years old (graduated highschool in 55 i believe, was in the OR observing when Lee Harvey Oswald was shot :thumbup:)... he looks maybe early 50s. he was FABULOUS... i love the way my scar looks, i love his attitude, everything about him. he is caring and compassionate and just ... wow... i cant stop gushing over him i guess ... :biggrin: -
i felt the same way - especially with Mark ... geesh, you JUST came back... :biggrin:

for me, it really wasnt that painful. the first 2-3 days were the worst and the most pain i had was about a 5 on a scale of 10 and the drugs (lorotab?? lortab??) took care of it right away. now its mostly discomfort. the incision pulls and just feels weird. it's been SO worth the pain/discomfort.

gahhhh ... swell hell continues... mostly in my left little area and above my belly button (still have tree trunk syndrome going on). went to dr yesterday for that one swell spot ... he poked and prodded and proclaimed me "just fine" ... swell, in fact :biggrin: -

yuck... hope at least the photos can be recovered (and more) they were on my ignore list for ages due to their infuriating (sp??? :confused2:) me whenever i read her incorrect info posts, but had to un-ignore people when i became a mod ... oh well, such is life ... :biggrin:
