    Should I expect this???????

i can pretty much eat anything i want (in moderation of course)... in fact, this weekend, i had about 1/2 a brownie and it was DEVINE... pre-band i would have had the entire pan-full. being banded has truly changed my life for the better. good luck on your decision.

    Hi to all

hi Melissa and welcome to LBT. i'm glad Georgia pointed you to the PCOS support, there are some great ladies over there! the port isnt very noticable, even some at goal have no issues, but some do. it really depends on where the surgeon puts it and how you are built. personally, i think i'd rather have a slight buldge of the port than my huge tummy ... :Dancing_wub:

    Hi there, I'm a newbie.....

hi Gwenie, welcome to LBT. i was a very large volume eater as well and the band has really helped me. just think of the liquid diet a temporary thing that you can get through. not all surgeons require only liquids, so you never know. best of luck to you.

hi Noela, welcome to LBT! the key to my loss so far has been exercising as much as i physically can... i started out at 402, so my 'exercise' would be about 5 mins on the treadmill, but i gradually increased it. you can do it.

All you people do is complain...

speaking of dips... im really loving the Tostino's spinach dip. it comes in a jar and mix it with canned chicken and is SOOOO good. Thanks to Georgia Girl for turning me onto it... it's now a staple in my house. i even made it for a party my parents hosted this weekend as an appetizer and it's the only thing that was eaten 100% ... took 3 cans chicken (bigger cans) whole jar of dip sprinkled top w/ parm cheese threw it in the oven for about 15 mins (cheese melted and dip warm)... delish!! and not high in cals/fat!! on topic - cant stand applebees ... food always cold and crappy service.
