hi michelle, welcome and congrats!!! my line started VERY faint blue as well and i took about 6 home tests and even went to my primary care for a few blood draws to see the HCG levels rise. i am now 36w1d pregnant (on bed rest in the hospital due to preg induced hypertension *PIH*- but thats ok)... i have an induction date of 1/30! i dont think you HAVE to tell your lap band doc until you feel you need an unfill... for me i got REALLY tight about 6-8 weeks into it (barely could do liquids), got a slight unfill then a few weeks later got a slight fill only to get completely unfilled a few weeks after that... i was losing quite a bit, but with the PIH, gained 21 pounds of mostly water weight in about a month - since on bed rest, i've lost about 1/3 of that... congrats again on the pregnancy - i hope it sticks!!

hey BBK! glad you had a good time! you deserve it! PJTP - woke up for vitals and now im UP and starving ... dang it ...

i think a SHORT break (no mroe than a minute or so) is ok ... when im doing it just cardio though, no break... for instance, on the elliptical - i would go 4-5 min at level 4 120 RPM, then i would go level 6 135 RPM for 60-90 seconds... (these numbers are guestimates... im 36 weeks pregnant and havent done intervals in ages).. but that's the basic idea...

yeah, bed rest in the hospital is lovely... EVERY freaking time my DH comes in here ... "I dont know how you do it, I'd be sooooo bored"... no crap sherlock!!!

ok, who posted they like damages? i am (slooooooowly) downloading season 1 and just saw the first episode... OH.MY.GOD! very good .. and im not even a glenn close fan ... wow...

honestly? it petrifies me ... we were supposed to have our child birth class the first time i was in the hospital .... i know its probably basic stuff, but AHHHH! im going to request that they start the pitocin (sp?) about 4am to see if we can get things going early... i WILL have an epidural so that should take some of the edge off, but still... and one of THE WORST things is ... on the 30th i wont be able to eat ANYTHING solid... i cant even have Water... popsicles, ice chips... thats it ... i told the nurse no wonder people giving birth are cranky - they're freaking hungry... its just so surreal - 2 weeks from now, (give or take a day), i WILL be holding my son... :yikes:

yeah, good luck with that... when you are finished, you can come over here and beat MY loud talking neighbor over the head for me... since i cant leave my room...

my only issue with that is, my sister (cannot stand her) may then want to 'friend' me ... i'd have to say, politely of course, "bless your heart, i dont email you why would i want to friend you"??

IF my BP continues to cooperate, my OB said they will induce me when I am 38 weeks which will be January 30th. BUT that does not necessarily mean he will be here that Friday. they will more than likely start the process on Thursday the 29th then start the 'good drugs' on Friday to get me into labor... she said i could labor all day on the 30th and deliver on the 31st or if its a quick labor (fingers crossed) it could be the 30th.. sooo...im just going to chill out here until either: - i go into labor on my own (entirely possible and i'm far enough along to where they will not stop it) - if my BP spikes and continues to stay up (hopefully not) and they induce me early - January 30th when they induce me...

lulu - SO glad they caught your port infection in time!! thanks for the heads up... PJTP - i have an official induction date ... January 30th. that is if i dont go into labor early or if my BP remains good while on bed rest.. yay... PJTP part deux - i just received a request from a family member (cousin's wife) for facebook .. GAHHHH... i dont want family on my FB... no idea how to politely say ummm, no... thoughts?

DH and DD were at the hospital the first part of the show... what exactly was the temptation? from what i saw all they had to do was cross the line ??? did they get any sort of weight penalty or whatever? i agree, voting off the kid would have been a mistake, especially hearing from you guys that the teammate went out and ate that garbage... **shaking head**. i cant believe how well Jerry did at home! he looks amazing. silver team ... grrr... its like Bob said, there were so many people who wanted to be there and were willing to make the commitment. i so wanted her to go home last night... but if she keeps up the "exercising" the way she wants vs what she should be doing, she'll be going home soon enough - if she slips below the yellow line, she'll get voted off really quickly - especially if Bob makes his team run or do whatever with her until she gets it right!!

lol .. thanks Susan ... i think as long as im laying down (and ummm, not sitting up like i am right now ) i'll be fine... i just shake my head at the incredible genius decisions some people have made... im cold too... its really cold in the room... PJTP - my neighbor at the hospital is 'bored' so she freaking calls me ... "are you pregnant?" ummm.. yeah "i just wanted to say congratulations"... uhhh, thanks... at this point DD is having fun and talking ... i told neighbor i couldnt hear her cause DD was talking "oh, my family refuses to come see me right now".... yeah, i feel sorry for her but dont call me when my family is here... actually, find something else to do... i dont chat on the phone... grrrrrrrr.. also - PJTP - my DH just saw a Bugatti Veyron in the parking lot at the hospital... i've never heard of it, but wiki'd it... impressive car... for those of you on facebook, i commented on his pic...
