  3. well, the one good thing about being ill and not being able to eat - dropped about 17 pounds! i am very slowly bringing back food. my band feels very tight right now. i just figured my BMI and i am currently at 47.8 - i'm just 'morbidly obese' now, not super morbidly obese. :clap2: 21.5 pounds until i hit 100 and 24 until i hit twoterville. i know it is going to take awhile, my losses pretty much stopped for awhile. hopefully this gave me the kick i needed.

  5. i dunno, okie - i fit in some of avenue's clothes (even a 22/24 in stretchie fabric) and we are about the same weight. you may want to try .. start stretchie and big and work your way down

    Shellybeans, that dang machine has it in for me!!!! i went for a minute at first too, over a month later, i struggle to go 11 mins ... but it does burn & tone!! keep up the great job!

  10. Wheetsin, kudos to you for even attempting to sit in those chairs ... nuh uh ... NO WAY would i sit in one of those!! if it didnt collapse when i sat in it, i dont think i'd be able to stand up to get out of it. :scared:

Hi Tina, when were you banded? your surgeon should have provided you food guidelines - if not call and ask. every surgeon is different. i was on liquids the first week then mushies then gradually increased to solids. make sure you are getting your protein in. remember you do not want to be "full" - you want to aim for "not hungry". good luck.

    Where did you lose first?

    i dont know about first but most noticeable was my belly. and then my back. i lost my lower 'back boobs' the pic is 1 month post op.

    i have not been doing so well. i am sick with something. not sure if it is just a nasty cold or the flu. i have been drinking tons of OJ and V8 berry blast. get my Vitamin intake UP. i did go to my kickboxing class yesterday but only lasted about 20 minutes

    Hi Christine, I actually brew my own from green tea bags and add sweet & low. there is a local St. Louis grocery store called Schnucks and thier brand name is the best i have found. of course i now live in Texas so every time i go home to STL i pick up a box or two. i'll have to try the 4C if i run out of bags. thanks for the tip!     hi Dancing- i am not a water person either - at all. it has to be ICE cold for me to drink it plain and since i am always SOOO incredibly cold now, that's not an option. i agree w/ Shirley - crystal light is the answer for me and the pink lemonade is the only one i have found that i like. i am a green tea drinker and cannot stand their version of green tea .. ick! good luck to you!

    reporting back. all my Water yesterday worked out 2x yesterday for a total of over 60 mins (both treadmill) today - 75% towards my water goal already worked out this morning (weights & elliptical) may go back this afternoon for more cardio.
