    i dont think we have a planet fitness around here. i go to 24 hour. today's work out: elliptical 25m 45s 478 cals bike 11m 20s 159 cals elliptical 7m 8s 111 cals elliptical - 2.5 miles bike - 3 miles

    6 Small meals a day???

    i try to do 5 - 6 small meals a day and it seems to be working well for me. if you aren't dropping, it wouldnt be a bad thing to try. i usually have the following (eating only if i am hungry mind you...): b - Cereal w/ 8 oz milk s - fruit or a few nuts l - "happy meal" (lean cuisine type) - about 1/2 of it maybe more if hungry s - fruit or nuts or cheese d - whatever my family eats (chicken, fish, etc..) s - ??? do not usually have PM snack good luck!

    Monday, 19.5 mins interval - elliptical / upper body 385 cals 14.25 mins bike 300 cals 10.25 mins elliptical 186 cals not that great of a work out. not HORRIBLE but i just wasnt in the mood to work out this morning i guess. :phanvan

    purplemonkey wow!! that is awesome! great job. i loathed the elliptical at first but then realized how many cals it burned and put up with it. now i do interval training (2 mins INTENSE elliptical (170+ RPM), 1 set of 10-20 on weights, back to intense elliptical and make it a vicious cycle... but you know ... it WORKS!! totally kicks my rear, but just awesome loss (over 8 pounds since Saturday the 5th of May!!!!!!) it was the kick i needed. i havent been losing too well lately and this was incredible. best of luck to you!

    Betsyjane - i've always wanted to try tai chi. i wish my gym offered it!! kity - no need to feel bad, just get up and move... even if it is walking up and down your driveway! josiebies - welcome!! i wish i had the stamina for a 60 min spin class! have fun with it!!! :rose: today i rocked out on the bike. went on the elliptical for 25 mins (2.5 miles) and then the bike for 28 mins (10 miles). i am still really sore from yesterday. my arms still burn, but that's a good thing, when they heal they'll be stronger!!! after my 12 1/2 miles, my legs felt like noodles ... :phanvan have a great week everyone!!

    worked out with kari today. very nice!! i did 10 mins on the elliptical - 3/4 mile. it was a slow warm up pace. she pushed me really hard for my arm work and we did some new ab work. this is working. i have some serious restriction now and am eating very little ... the whole diet and exercise really works!! i am down almost 4 pounds since thursday!!!! GAHHHHHH!!!!! :faint::faint:

    in laws are coming to town - what to do??

    LMAO Metalband. now that i think about it i really dont think they will ask ME anything. it will go to DH. i told him to just say we arent really concentrating on numbers, just how great i feel. thanks so much for your responses. i will keep you posted.
