    Bodybugg users report here!

i absolutely love my body bugg!! i put it on my night table next to my bed and put it on first thing in the morning (as soon as i step out of bed) and the last thing i do at night before going to sleep is take it off. the website is thorough and only takes a couple days (minimal usage) to really get very familiar with all the cool tools. attached are 2 pictures (sorry if they are big - i am at work and cannot edit size). my bugg with my sleeve pulled up and my bugg with my sleeve down.

Who Has Lost Over 100 Pounds?!?!

hi Lorie, well, my starting weight was 402 1/2 lbs. i lost quite a bit the first 3 months (61 pounds - almost 30 my first month). i worked out nearly every day - sometimes twice a day. out of a month of 30 days, i worked out one month 41 times. now i work out 6 days a week (cardio for 6 days, adding strength training every other day). the past week i have been low-carbing it and it seems to have kicked me into gear. i lost 14 pounds last week. my body goes thorough cycles. i will not lose anything for a week, then gain just a tad then drop about 5 pounds. i drink as much water as i can physically handle (80+ ounces a day) and i am fairly well restricted (about 2-3 oz of meat is good). best of luck to you!

    Exercise frequency

i go 6 times a week, taking 1 day off. cardio routine - elliptical 20 mins, bike 30 mins, elliptical 10 mins cool down (6 times) strength training - full body every other day i cant wait to start running. my heart is in shape for it, but i am petrified of damaging my knees further so i will wait another 70ish pounds i think. that's ok - it gives me a goal. and chickie - please dont leave, you are one of my inspirations!!

Libra, dontcha just hate TOM!!?? grrrrr... the only good thing about it, i am tight tight tight and cant really eat much at all. so after the water weight finally leaves, i am down a good amount! i tried to update my totals, but cant go to old messages, the page is blank ... i am loving low carbing it right now!!! down 14 pounds last week (i think its a combo of low carb and getting rid of my water weight). i am exactly 1/2 way to my final goal of losing 222 pounds!

This is Why I HAVE to Do This!

hi wanabthin, you need to resolve any food issues you have pre-band. the band is a tool that will assist you, but the 'bad' things you eat will go right through the band (m&m's, chips, cake). i dont know why they do, but for many it happens. also sweet tea - lots of empty cals that the band will not catch. the thing with PB's (productive burps) is for a lot of people it's not just throwing up. it's quite painful, so that is also a reason to stop. good luck being banded, read this forum, it has LOTS of great info!

Me too. Using Windoze XP Pro, Firefox browser. It's really frustrating cause it marks the forum as "read".

    Road to "TWOterville"

Elisabeth, thanks so much for the information. the ER doc was NO HELP whatsoever. it was the end of his shift and i guess i should consider myself "lucky" he took the time to sign the scripts... grrrr... the one thing he did tell me is it is NOT uncommon in 20 - 30 yr olds (just turned 36 Sunday) ... i am somewhat better, it gets worse about 130 - 200 in the morning, so i took Tylenol before i went to bed last night and that seemed to work. my MD is out of town until next week so i have to wait. hopefully i will be much better by then. thanks everyone for your support, i really appreciate it. Christine

**sigh** i dont even know where to begin. sunday i started having 'pressure' in my chest. it would come and go and get worse when i bent over. Monday morning i woke up about 130 and literally could not breathe my chest hurt so much. great - i lose almost 100 pounds and NOW i have a freaking heart attack .. went to the ER, many tests, blood, x rays, etc they even gave me nitro pill ... not a heart attack thank god. it's costo condritis. but now my heart hurts and the ER doc said take it easy until i feel better. after reading about this on the net, i may never feel 100% again .. moving makes it worse ... **sigh** this is so not good. :think

Congratulations! great job to everyone else who are losers this week.. i doubt i've lost this week at all. yes i have been walking all day every day (Disney is killing me slowly) but i have been eating not so great (umm, donuts for breakfast) and Bailey's has been my evening drink of choice.. we'll see ... Christine
  25. my in-laws are coming down from Toronto this weekend. they do not (and will never) know about my surgery. we have not told them i have lost any weight. in fact, i have pretty much told my DH i will not be in any pictures he sends to them. a little background, my DH and i met on the internet ***gasp*** about 12 years ago when it wasnt a scary place ... :rolleyes ... we married without him telling them about me ... i know not a good thing. when i went up to Toronto to meet them, pretty much the first thing they asked me was how much do you weigh. they are thin Chinese who expected DH to marry a tiny Chinese woman ... i am neither... i was thinking IF they bring up the weight loss - they may not even say anything, they are "like that" - i will just say a little over 30 pounds and just say it's not something that i really talk about. i dont think i want to admit that i've lost almost 100 pounds cause that will just make me admit i had that much to lose and i obviously need to keep working at it. can this post be any longer? sorry. i appreciate any feedback. thanks!
