    What weight for regular size clothing??

    faith, i couldnt agree with you more! when i was about 370ish, i couldnt even fit in 30/32 pants (much less jeans) and my top was probably about 30/32 if not higher right now (i am 5'9") i seem to be stuck at my size 20 or 22 pants (20 if stretchy denim) and 18/20 22/24 top depending on the cut. i cannot wait to shop in non-plus sized stores!!!

    today was only 7 minutes on the bike and 55 mins with my trainer. it was great! she makes me sweat so much more than my old trainer. the good thing is, is that we do different things each time. i really like the variety. :biggrin1:

    vex, i really dont think you'll regret it... i LOVE it!! i have to be honest and mention that i've slacked off a bit lately, but i've just been soooo tired from work (i know, excuses, excuses..) i am committing to wiiiiii at least 3 times a week.

    since 01 August (really 02, i didnt go work out the first) i have used the bike / elliptical for 85.95 miles. some days as much as 20 miles, some days (like today) about 9. my average is about 12-15 a day. i have upped the resistance for the elliptical and it is kicking my @$$, but i love it!! :tea:

    9 days post-op still nothing

    yummie, my advice would be to keep reading threads here. the first few weeks until you get your fill are sometimes called "bandster hell". you are tired, you are hungry and you arent losing weight. this is a time for HEALING. its a time to stick to the guidelines your doctor gave you so your band can set in place. scar tissue needs to form around your band. you will do great once you hit your "sweet spot" and remember, that may take 1 fill, but it may also take 7 fills - everyone is different. good luck.

    hi Betty, welcome to this thread. i didnt do too well on my deficit yesterday either. about 900 calories. but the great thing about the band is that i am not on a "diet", i eat what i want and last night i wanted crackers with spinach / artichoke dip. i did only have 6 though, so not horrible. i hope you enjoy your bugg as much as i do.
  17. it's picture time. i am so grateful for my little band. it has performed better than i have ever imagined! i started out with a 6xl top and tonight it was a loose! 2xl.

    my mini-challenge is to pre plan and log EVERYTHING ... no matter what it is until i drop 10 more pounds (weight of 275)

    Soo confused about exercise

    i personally think it's ok to be in the cardio zone. it burns more calories and a calorie burned is a calorie burned. how about doing intervals? if you are on treadmill go your normal speed then for 30 - 45 seconds really kick it up a few notches ?? it works for me! (but of course, everyone is different)...
