i second the couch to 5k program.... it helped me in my 15K in May.. another hint i received from runners here ... SLOW DOWN... then slow down again ... for example, walk 3MPH, 'run' 3.3-3.4 MPH... then gradually increase. good luck!

no morning sickness? lucky! it started very early with me... going from slightly queasy to full blown throwing up it lasted until i was 11 ish weeks. i still get a tad sick to my stomach when DH is driving... try not to worry about it.. -

fanny - OMG, how incredibly scary! glad you are ok. lulu - i dont wanna talk about it... if i dont talk about it, it's not happening, right?? pjtp - my DH is running the White Rock 1/2 marathon on Sunday, he's tapering down his runs... this is his 2nd to last run and he f'ing pulled something in his leg.. "muscle, tendon, something"... dammit.... -

really? that's bizarre... they changed MY due date (from LMP) to the size of him.... i went in thinking i was 8 weeks when, based on size, i was 6w3-4days.... and he's been measuring consistently with my new due date... i'm due February 13th ... only 68 days to go... GAHHHHHHHHHHHHH -
there are days i really have a hard time controlling my frustration with people who say STUPID things without knowing what they are talking about... that's my confession....
