  6. hi snappy, my day of and day after ... ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ... seriously! i slept for 2 hours, woke up for 15 mins, slept 2 hours ... repeated the entire 2 1/2 days... i was one of the 'lucky ones' and had no gas pains/issues. i only took my pain meds 2 times. i was soooo lucky. i waited almost a week to drive really only because i didnt have to drive anywhere ... **shrug** i took a week off work and loved it! good luck!

    i can relate ... unfortunately i am 270-274 (although i did get down to 267 eons ago)... keep the faith, we can do this!
  11. Search - Advanced search and on the right hand side type in their user name. you can also go to the exercise board and open anything pertaining to running, etc... they are pretty active on that section.

  14. hi Jeanie, speed for now should not be an issue. in fact i was gently 'chastized' by a runner on the board for trying to go too fast. (it was a nice chastized ... not a bad thing at all, it motivated me even more actually).... i was trying for 5.0-5.2 MPH... they both suggested i slow it down, then slow it down again. it is length you run to condition your body to run. i will try to find Jachut's link. she and JulieNYC have been enormous running inspirations for me.

  18. ummmm .. dont think i'll be subscribing to that podcast :eek: i have decided to take this week off. i did run Monday, but am just too sore to do the rest of the week so i am going to rest until next Monday and hopefully i will be able to get back in the swing of things. i hate being such a klutz... :cry

  20. JM thats really a ton of cals burned, is your weight set correctly? great job on the run and yes, its RUN!!! i didnt run today. my body still hurts so much ... i am going to train for an hour tomorrow and maybe run tomorrow.. sigh..

    Dilemma/confusion would love your help

    you may want to not eat a bagel for Breakfast. a lot of people (me included) are very tight in the morning. i have a liquid breakfast (high in Protein low in carbs is the key)... it will fill you up until a light lunch. if you are still really quite hungry, i say go in for the fill. it took me about 5 fills to get adequate restriction - but the number of fills doesnt really matter ... what matters is HOW MUCH Fluid with each fill.. good luck.

  25. every morning - Atkins Advantage Caramel Latte shake ... REALLLLLLLY cold. tastes like a Starbucks frapp.... mmmmmmm
