  2. when its semi frozen i can close my eyes and pretend its a Starbucks frap!
  3. - take can out of fridge - place in freezer for 15-20 mins. - take out of freezer - open can - pour in a glass ... couldnt get much easier ...

    Julie, you are definitely not alone in the binge area ... i just finished a nice month+ long binge (gee - wonder what i was doing when i was 'missing'??? ) we are talking every day.. i'd have something horrid ... it might have been a piece of carrot cake, 2 chocolate bars (never just one), cold stone "gotta have it" sized ice cream... you name it. the only difference i can find is that i intentionally was eating it ... in fact i was kind of like "uck it"... and i think i was at the point i didnt care. i do chew and spit a little bit, but no where near the binge range.. since then i have come to my senses and the support on this board has been enormous in my help. it took a lot of courage for you to step up and say this. you always have been - and still are - a huge inspiration to me. C

  9. LOL whos .. c25k for kids ... ready set go ... get candy, go, get candy, run run run!!! i love my bugg ... it really is a motivational machine for me. like last night, i saw i had to burn 160 more cals before i went to bed so i played on our Nintendo Wii ... it's great!!!

    i totally lied ... weighed in

    i couldnt help it. i am completely addicted to weighing myself. when the scale is going down, i am fine. but when it goes up or stays the same it just discourages me. thankfully, right now, i am eating right and working my ass off so it is going down. like 5 pounds so far this week!! my recent fill has finally kicked in and is nice and restricting! unfortunately, i am REALLY tight in the mornings and even shakes are tough to get down. but this is the time of the month i am normally tigher than usual, so i am feeling i will open up a bit relatively soon. my couch to 5k is going very well. i love the running (i almost said runs, but that just wouldnt look right :confused:) i average 3.9-4.0 MPH for the entire 30 mins. my "low" is about 3.7 during my brisk walk and my high today was 4.7 for about 20 seconds, my normal high is about 4.4-4.5 MPH. those 90 seconds sometimes c r a w l by though! and of course, the 2 mins walking fly by!! ???? i dont get it. only 11.75 more pounds until i hit 150 gone for good. wow. i need to keep doing the low carb and working out to see if i can drop it by mid November. my realistic goal is by the end of November. how about that rants & raves thread about goal weights... ???? wowwow. i actually do see everyone's point of view. i am not chastizing anyone for picking a high goal weight, but for me, i did not have someone cut me open and shove a foreign object around my belly to still be obese!!! hope you are all well..

  16. i did week 2 day 2 today ... my thighs are killing me. i checked my body bugg when i got home from work yesterday ... 16.2 cals / minute was my max while i was running. awesome!!!

  19. gotcha ... i know when i stick to REALLY low carb the weight does practically melt off me ... unfortunately, i cant stay on it for longer than 2 weeks ... it then feels like a 'diet' and then i get REALLY bad cravings and give into them .. not a good thing.
  20. enterprise, have you thought about REALLY low carbing in to try to get those 10 lbs off? (like less than 20 grams TOTAL a day)
  21. karen, i, too, am going to break one of the "runners rules" and run tomorrow. i usually M/W/F, but had to skip yesterday. i talked it over with my trainer and she said every once in awhile, 2 days in a row is OK, just dont make a habit out of it.

    take 3 - my computer hates me ... Wheetsin, my thoughts exactly. we have the same 'goal' weights and i started at 400 as well (although i believe you are a tad taller than i am). if i get to 180 (my feelings right now), i would be overjoyed. if i dont like where i am then i'll keep trudging along ... :rolleyes if i dont have a clearly set goal, i go nowhere.

    i'm cheating.....already

    im not wasa, but i do low carb as well. i usually try to stay under 20 carbs a day. typical menu: b - Atkins shake - (or any low carb high Protein shake - mine is 4 carbs) l - tuna w/ chipotle mayo and hard boiled egg s - almonds - 14ish d - beef / chicken / pork / shrimp / crab / fish .... tablespoon of LC veggies ... i usually do green Beans. i found i LOVE shrimp. they are super low carb and good calorie wise too. melt a little butter in a pan and saute them. delish! if i have shrimp, instead of hot sauce, i use spicy salsa ... really good. good luck! i wont go into the cheating aspect, cause i'd just be repeating Wasa
