Grrrr You Beat Me To It!!!1
  6. i didnt eat any candy this halloween. i stuck a tootsie roll special edition (vanilla) in my mouth. chewed a couple of times and spit it out. not something i intended, but DD needed one in half. it was an instinct just to bite it and eat the other half. sooo glad i thought and out it went. i was banded October 2006, i found one pic that DH snapped while i (begrudgingly) posed with DD last year. this year, i wanted to see the difference. 102.25 lbs down from last halloween. yeah, i can see it!

    Mozzarella sticks

    sounds like a great recipe!!
  11. Cindy, how long have you been banded? sounds like you are in bandster hell ... it gets better. you need proper restriction for it to work. it may take a little bit, but when you have it, it's wonderful!

    Bodybugg users report here!

the bugg uses normal AAA batteries ... a note about my bugg, not sure if everyone's is like mine, but i BURN thru the batteries. like average 1 or more a week. you also have to change the battery quickly. if you take the old battery out, you have to replace it with a new one in 30 seconds ... not difficult, just the pressure... the watch just takes a normal watch battery.

but i'm gaining ... i dont understand why. could it be the pizza or the country fried chicken or the fact i dont move off the couch ??
  14. losingjusme

    which is best?

i think everyone is different but ultimately it is cals in / cals out. i get best results from extreme low carb (less than 20 grams total a day)
  15. jacqui - great response.. whatnow - yes, it is diet and exercise, but the band makes it so much easier to restrict your food intake. i can eat pretty much anything i want (just very little) and still lose weight.

yay! you can have all weekend to "play" with it ..
  18. oh yeah ... stupid question about the podcast for week 3... you know how on week 1 he says 'get ready to start your run - GO' ... he doesnt really say GO on week 2 and i miss that cause i dunno when to actually start running (heaven forbid i go an extra few seconds). does he say GO on week 3? <mentally preparing for week 3>
  19. gahhhh ... today's run was torture. it just couldnt be over fast enough! oddly enough, i had my fastest 'average' since the program. 4.0MPH (i keep typing MPG..lol *dork*). my walks were 3.7 - 4.0 and my runs were 4.4 - 4.7. i guess i thought if i ran faster it would be over quicker ... (refer to *dork* comment above ) so i am finished for the week. i am definitely running week 2 again next week. i dont think my body can take week 3 quite yet. after running, i did some leg / ab work and LOTS of great stretching. ahhhhhh stretching. i need to take more time to do it. i think it would really help my legs. my calves get so fatigued when i run. hell, I get so fatigued when i run still. but its better than it was 3 weeks ago ... great job everyone... and whos - dont feel guilty for taking a day off. i am going home this weekend and probably resting the entire weekend! maybe after 2 days of rest i will be up for week 3????? hmmmmmmm....

    Should I have to

exactly! i would be nowhere close to where i am now if it werent for the extremely successful bandsters like Chickie, Wasa, Jachut, JulieNYC, Telly, BooBooKitty, Edie and many many more that are either at or close to goal and eat right and work their ass off instead of complaining that they arent losing but just sit around and do nothing about it. what kind of "support forum" would this be if there were just "works in progress" ????
