  1. me too!! i've actually looked into Boston and you have to pretty much pre-qualify, so i'm thinking the disney marathon 2009.

    DAMN!! i just gave away all my hugely fat clothes ... my new 18s wont qualify for really fat clothes do they? (not that i'm bragging in any way, shape or form - f that ... yeah i am!) woooo hooo ... size 18 pants ... wooo hoooo ... go me ... * *no, i'm not really like that, but yeah, i am kinda stoked going from 6XL (44-46 ish) to size 18/20...

  7. im chicken to do spinning for some reason. one being i dont want my butt to hurt (yeah, i know - pathetic).. the other being that the classes are the days i see my trainer and heaven forbid i change that ... i am probably going to do week 3 this and next week. i may do a step class tomorrow after work ... i dunno ... i am such a chicken! i did step when i was 340-350 lbs+ and now i'm chicken. i just dont want to get injured....

    which is best?

    what i had to do was experiment. and it still is a flux of cals/carbs based on what i do that day. i dont want to stay the same cals so i can keep my body confused and the metabolism going ... also, if i am working out (especially running) i need to up the cals a bit so i dont get light headed. good luck!

  13. i ran week 3 / run 1 today. that 3 mile run went OK. for some reason, the 2nd time was easier. good luck everyone!

  15. Hi everyone, this is our third week in the Couch to 5K program. This is designed to be a 9 week program, but you can repeat weeks (as I will be doing) until you are comfortable moving on. However, you are not supposed to skip weeks. It has been strongly suggested by trainers and runners alike to NOT run on consecutive days.     down a bit ...

    have i mentioned lately how much i love running? well i do... it is really working for me. that combined with a nice LOW LOW carb way of eating is making the scale move in the right direction. so far this week i am down 5 pounds. almost in the 250s!! wow wow! i just cant believe it.
