TG, i tried the pills, didnt do anything for me... only thing that works is a diflucan type pill... hopefully the plastics guy will prescribe it...

hi, welcome to LBT! i lost about 85-90 pounds my first 6 months. took me 8 months to lose 100 and i'm 16 months out and have lost about 150. the less you weigh, the more you have to work at burning the cals. but it's worth it. banding is the best thing ive done for myself. good luck on your journey.

sorry to hear about your cancer, i hope are now cancer free. that's good to hear about the unfill. i am going in for plastics (in 2 days!!) and did get completely unfilled. i am really quite hungry and have actually gained a couple, but i think being too tight after surgery and possibly nauseated, would not be a good thing.

you may want to start your day with something warm. sometimes that helps loosening up the band. when i am filled properly, i cant eat in the morning either. no way would eggs work. :biggrin: i guess i start loosening up about 1030 - 1100. then by dinner im barely restricted. good luck.

yeah, i hope i'm "OK" too and can post details *more than likely drugged up details, but details none the less :biggrin:* my throat is a tad sore, but no fever. took 500 mg of my Z Pack last night, 500 today and 500 tomorrow... will have a killer infection ... umm, ya know there, but hopefully no strep. oh boy... my last day at work for a little bit. all my work is done, i've prepared for next month. it's gunna be a long day. breathe believe be happy ....

DH has specific instructions ... i will more than likely post a new thread on Friday and he will post when i go in, when i come out and whether i am OK or 'not OK'... he wont post many details. i will have my iPhone with me so if im up to it will post Friday night or Saturday... then who knows ???

grrr... just found out, my MD gave me a 6 day 250 mg instead of a 3 day 500 mg... why??????? last time i got the Rx it was the 500. why did she do that? grrrrrrrr... im sooo close to just double dosing it... guess i should call my PCP first, but dammit, why didnt she just give me the quick fix? will up my fluids and all ... but grrrrrrrr

im gunna strangle my DH (d does NOT mean dear right here...) strep throat... freaking strep throat!! the man i kissed has strep throat. at least my PCP gave me an Rx for a Z pack. i called my surgeon's office and they said to stay away from him... well, duh!!!

when i have adequate restriction eat and then take a drink, it brings the food (and liquid) back up ... rather forcefully ... not a good thing.
