My band has been sitting at a pretty sweet spot for me, but it's as if gets tighter on it's own. Then on Friday I had the stomach flu and now I seemed to feel as if it's not as tight as the "sweet spot". Sounds silly but I'm wondering...

As it turned out, my port was leaking. Had a port revision a few weeks ago. bump in the road I reckon.

Jean-This is my concern because I did vomit. Only once, but it was a strain all the way to my toes. The thing is. I have gotten to a "too tight" feeling and vomit almost everyday because of being stuck. I don't feel less restriction per se but I can actually eat now and I'm worried. I have to be super restricted.

Really I disillusioned my self thinking I'd be free of the "guilt" of food. I can't stand this awful feeling of guilt when I'm hungry. Like I'm not doing my part. So aggravated with myself. :bored:

Thanks so much for the insight and feedback. I appreciate you all. I'm only a month post op and I tend to be a worrier anyway, and I'm expecting miracles when really I need to chill out, relax and enjoy this new life. I'm going to regroup. "The band isn't magic, it's a buddy system- you are the buddy." Thank you for this, it made an impact on me.

Hey- Starting to feel the same way about the scale. I'm only a week and a half out from surgery and I'm already obsessed with the scale. This morning I got on int and it said I was up almost 2lbs. WHAT?? I'm in agreement with Rsilversea, throw it out or weigh once a month. I'm going to TRY to adhere to that myself. Good Luck :thumbup: -
