    My WL Journey Has Begun

My husband is in The Army so we have Tri care prime for our insurance. I know they will cover the surgery, but I am not sure what steps need to be done before I can get a date. I am nervous and I think I change my mind every hour. I just find myself coming back to this site, and realize this is the best option for me.

    My WL Journey Has Begun

Hi Angel and welcome. My name is Lori and I am still in the informational stage of my journey. This Thursday I will be going to the Doctor and letting him know that I am ready. I am not sure how long it will be after that. Good luck on your journey and let us know how you are doing.
  3. Hi my name is Lori and I just wanted to introduce myself. I am still in the information stage of my journey. It was time for my yearly appointment and I so dreaded the scale, and for the past 5 years my Doctor always asks "Have you thought about having a Lap Band done?" I always said no and never gave it a second thought. This time I left the office telling myself that I would think about it. I came home and the first site I came to was this one. I want to say I have enjoyed spending the weekend with y'all. I laughed, cried, and cheered with every story that I read. There was so much great information that I think all my questions have been answered. I am tired of sitting and watching the train pass me by. I'm ready to get out of the station and hop on for a ride. So when I see the Doc this week for my follow up I am going to tell him that I'm Ready! Thanks for sharing you stories. I hope to chat with you all soon. Lori
