I got married at the age of 17 I weighed around 140 pounds. After being married I gradually gained weight. Now I have been married 25 years and tipping the scales at 253. I have a eight year old little girl that I would love to have more energy for and be able to run,ride bikes, take long walks do more than I do now! I decided I wanted to do something about my weight. After much conderation decided to go with the lapband. I was to afraid of gastric bypass after a friend died after having it 3 months. Went to a seminar July 13,2009. Had to do the 6 month diet. Waiting for insurance approval thur Humana has been the longest wait but now finally approved. I go for preop test March 26, 2010 and back to see the surgeon April 2,2010 & surgery date is April 6, 2010. I can't wait till it's over. My lapband Journy is about to begin.Please Pray for me to be successful!
