My doctor told me to be on clear liquids 1 week, then thicker liquids 1 week the solid were ok, I CAN EAT SOLIDS OK, WHY DO WE NEED TO STAY ON LIQUIDS FOR SO LONG. NO ONE HAS YET TO EXPLAINE THIS TO ME.

Hi everyone, Happy to meet all of you. I was just banded on 10-12-06 by Dr. Spiegel in Houston. My starting weight was 394 and my goal is 250. I am male, 47 years old and ready to lose. I hope later on I will also be able to provide help and support like all of you do. Mark:)

Help, I am 2 days post op and I get a pretty good pain when trying to take a deep breath, is this normal, Also I seem to have the inability to burp? Any help is greatly appreciated Mark:help:
