    Cali Bandsters Unite!!

I'll be done at Fremont Kaiser. It's cool to have others in our area to talk with. I'm not sure if Kaiser will allow the on line support as "support" or if I will be reqiured to attend actual meetings. They want something for sure and so do I I look forward to getting to know you all here. Thanks again, Denise

    Cali Bandsters Unite!!

Before I found CA bb I am just south of San Jose and was hoping to find a local support in my town or area. I'm in Hollister and would love to not have to drive but will if I have to. I'm going to go reading now and see if I can get more info...I'm not due for banding until Feb. 2007 Thanks Denise
  5. Hi there I'm Denise and I was hoping to find a support group in my area, I'm in Hollister and would like to attend something in my area though I realize we are a small town/community and will probably have to do some driving but would rather not have to go past San Jose. Thanks for any info, Denise
  6. Hi there, My name is Denise and I'm on the road to be banded. Our HMO only does the banding in groups and they just did it so I'll be slotted in for Feb 2007! I have some questions and dont know if this is the right bb, I'll pose them and then if it's not the right place maybe someone can re-direct me and I can repost there. Before I ask I'd like to say how thankful I am that I found this site and that I can have the support of those who have been there. My situation is, BMI is about 37 but I have apnea (moderate) and high BP and pre diabetes and a horrible history of cancer on mom's side. My doc thought that going from about 193 (goal pre op weight) down to about 170 would be considered success. Am I delusional to think that that is NOT much to lose? My goal would be to have a mini and a main goal. Mini goal would be to get to 150 and then main goal to between 135 and 140. I am only 5'4 (just under actually) and 135 is still considered to be high in weight. Is it unreasonable to think I could get to my personal main goal? I know a LOT depends on me and how I do things but thought I'd like your thoughts too. Thanks so much, Denise
