Hi,
I did have a pre-op diet....I was on the South Beach diet for two weeks. It is mostly meat and vegtables. I am now on week three post op. For breakfast I have 8 oz glass of V8 and a Protien Shot. The ones at Wal-Mart are 2.6 oz. and are 26 grms of protein. For lunch I have been having Chicken and a vegtable, ex. (tomatoes, peas, yellow squash, green beans etc etc) tonight I had whole wheat pasta with spagetti sauce with meat. That was something new....I usually have some kind of chicken. What I have been doing different (than what I used to do.....)is making sure I get enough protein, that is not always the case for me..... and then the walking. I am thrilled at my 34 pounds.... I think your idea of 6-10 per month is a great weightloss goal. I know I will plateau here shortly. I always do!!!! I seem to have been loosing more steady this time....the biggest difference is the protein.

I see Dr. fox was your surgeon. I am scheduled for April 9. Just wondering how you feel about him. As the date is getting closer I am starting to have 2'nd thoughts about everything. I read the complications forum and am not so sure now. Any complications for you?

I have my sugery scheduled with Dr. fox on April 9. How do you feel about him? Are you glad you did it? Now that the date is getting close I am having 2'nd thoughts.
