  1. So...surgery was at 7:00 a.m. the 23rd of March. All went well (I am told) seemed I closed my eyes and snap....over! Dr. M repaired a small hernia while banding me. They said all else looked great. Was home same day before noon and slept most of the day. Enjoyed sips of ice water, a really tasty chocolate low fat protein shake, and a lemon yogurt...AND two games of Scrabble with Hubby!

Today, I am feeling a little more pain. Tossed and turned a lot during the night, mostly just not sleepy after sleeping most of the day after surgery. But, I have taken more pain meds and feeling the shoulder pain I was told I might, little gasy, not bad. All n all thus far all goes well. I am enjoying my coffee this morning and have taken my adult gummy bear vitamin! :) I am anxious for the next several months and trying to keep a 'one day at a time' attitude. Food all smells good when about me, but satisfied with my new foods and having just a twinge of craving for my most adored food POTATOES :)
