I had surgery on 12-30-09 and have had some issues. Initially, I had pain to the left of my port although it wasn't the port. It was more like a muscle contraction but Jeez, it hurt! It seemed to always do it when I sat so that when i would move to get up, I had to hold my side, stand up slowly and just grin and bear it. 3 months later, I still have pain although not as intense or as frequently. Initially, they thought I had an infection but that wasn't the problem. I also had left shoulder pain which continues. Everytime I hiccup, breathe deep or burp (which I've done alot of since the surgery), my shoulder hurts. No one seems to think it's a problem but me. Whatever.I hear another doctor in the area has better support an better results. Oh well...
