  1. Well I'm been lurking and learning for about a month and I've finalized my banding. I'm offically going to be a bandster on April 22nd and I'm very excited about it. I've started my high protein, low carb, low fat diet last Monday and am use to it now. I just wanted to say hi.

  3. am soooooooooo hungry. On full liquids. I hate this and wish I already had the surgery.

  4. I'm also wanted to see how you're doing about the surgery. I wanted to make sure to tell you I'll be thinking of you on the 20th and good luck.

  5. well since misery loves company..I'm here to report that the scale hasn't move in three days...annnndddd yesterday I went to tea with my daughter and two girlfriends. It was carb heaven....and of course I cheated. I haven't cheated since I got on my diet but I couldn't take it no more.

  6. I'm also frustrated with the weight not coming off...I'm only eating one meal and drinking 2-3 shakes a day. Total loss only 10lbs ( i think)..... and that's from low carb dieting prior to the only one meal thing. I started "pre-op dieting" on Mar. 15th. I'm starting to think (hope) that big numbers in pre-op are coming from people with much higher starting numbers. I'm doing better with the hungry the last couple of days. I drink 2 shakes and 3 -20oz water bottles with crystal light in them. Also, I started drinking broth....not from the can. I go and get clear broth soup or wonton soup and only drink the broth and throw the food away. I have a shake in the morning, shake for lunch and then broth/soup when i get home from work, then dinner. The broth has done wonders for me (well the last 2 days) not feeling deprived. Hope your day is a better one today. I'll check with you tonight.

  7. Hey buddy. Hope you're having a good night. I'm getting nervous.... Sunday I go to full liquids and then Tuesday I go to full CLEAR liquids. I'm struggling now with only one meal. But...... I will do it somehow and survive (don't know how my family will survive lol).

  8. Had an ok night....very hungry when I got home from work (around 4). I really need to find a filler b/w lunch and home. Had chicken ontop of romane lettuce, shredded cheese, and honey mustand dressing. About an hour later had some nuts. I'm thinking I'm going to start drinking some broth when I get home. Any thoughts on the meal??

    April Bandster Bunnies

    I'm so glad to hear everyone is doing well. You guys are certainly leading us April Bunnies in the right direction:thumbup:. I'm three days into my pre-op diet (2-3 shakes and one lean meat with one veggie meal) and I'm going to my PCP to get my "ok" for surgery today. Starting to get anxious and excited.
