100lbs in 5 months!?!?!? How did you do it? I still have no restriction and feel like I am just dieting on will power! I was banded March 31st weighing 280 and as of today weigh 255. -
Hey. Was looking at your profile and we have alot in common! Hope we can help eachother out in our journey. I was banded March 31st, weighing 300lbs on March 18th and as of today I am @ 255. Slower than I wanted with weight loss but I just discovered I may have a leak in my port. I can only wait to find out at my next fill to see if all 4ccs are still in my band. HOPING so! Hope all is well and good luck

you look so AMAZING! When was your surgery date? You have lost sooooo much weight! What kinds of things did you do and do you continue to do? CONGRATS!
I was banded 3/31/10 and so far am down 40lbs. I was hopeing for more and am super determined, but I have NO restriction yet what so ever. I could eat an elephant if I wanted. BUT I DONT! lol It is kind of frustrating since I have no restriction cause Its like I could be doing this whole diet thing without the lap band. So hopefully y next fill helps me out!

I am right there with you Gorda123. I was banded March 31st 2010. I was about 280lbs on the day of my surgery, loosing 20lbs, during my 2 week liquid diet. I am currently @ 265. I have a 10CC band, and my first fill was 3CC and my second only .5CC its frustrating to me since I feel like I can eat anything and I have noooooo restriction at all. Feels like I am doing this with only will power and dieting, which I couldve done without the band. I have days where I wonder if the band was the right thing to do. But then I look @ peoples stories and just keep telling myself I will EVENTUALLY hit my "sweet spot" Im just hoping sooner than later. I am scheduled for my 3rd fill June 28th, so hopefully they give me a little more and I can experience even a little restriction. : )

Mexico is the only place you can go. No where in the US will do someone under 18. -

Hey Everyone! Not to sound too happy or ok.. but my surgery couldnt have gone any better! NO Problems, or complications. I definetly had the burpy feeling for about 3 days after the surgery but I feel almost 100%. I am ready to start excersizing again! I wish my incisions would just heal up already so I could get back to it! : ) As for diets, I also cannot believe how many different ones there are from different doctors. It blows me away! For me I was on a clear liquid diet for the first week (apple juice, Jello, broth, water) then now the secind week its all liquids... then week three mushies, but I have already added in some mashed potatoes. I drink unjury Protein mix, and I think its awesome! Im ordered it off line before I had my surgery and it tastes just like chocolate milk! The day I started my Pre-Op diet (2 weeks prior to surgery) I was 300lbs. As of yesterday I am at 270! Down 30lbs! YAY Hope everyone else is doing well and cant wait to see how this all turns out! Only time will tell! Good Luck too all! : ) -
I know Zumba ROCKS! I love the fact that I have soooo much fun and it doesnt feel like im working out! hahaha and I sweat like nobodys business! Thanks!

how did you loose the weight so quick. I am having my surgery on the 31st and cannot wait! I have so much determination to loose weight and want to loose at the rate you are. It kinda discourages me when I see people who have only lost 30lbs after 5 months. But you seem to be doing amazing. I keep saying I am the exception and I want to just loose loose loose. But then again I see posts of others saying that same thing as me about loosing fast and being an exception. haha What advice and techniques have you used in order to come so far and look so amazing? congrats you look great!
