So I'm about to be 30 and I'm ready to have my 1 more baby I'm 245.. was 300 when banded 5 years ago was 189 when i got pregnant with 1st child. My question is this im still pretty big .. has anyone still lost weight during pregnancy and been ok.. i still wonna work out lightly n walk while I'm pregnant and eat well and continue to lose weight

Looking for a good protien mix i usually can't drink these they make me gag but i recently tried the shakology chocolate by its self n again it was gross but she told me to had half a banana and tsp peanut butter wow what a difference n it's soo ooo yummy and very satisfying but shakology is very very pricy . So I'm looking for a chocolate protien powder that's weightloss friendly thanks.. (((I'll add I know we're suppose to be off shakes after awhile but I'm having some issues I'm way to tight I cany get a referral to see a band specialist I won't bore u with all the hairy details this is just my only option right now)))

So I found out I have a gluten intolerance and was wondering if anyone is on a gluten free diet could give me advice and info . Shopping tips .. is the taste a real big change?

Hey that's awsome.. well my primary won't give me a referral so I'm kina screwed for right now :-( he did some test n said my band is fine even tho I still can't eat anything solid without getting stuck.. what did ur doctor tell the insurance company?

Any one have horizon bcbs of nj and was able to get revision band to sleeve. If so how was the approval process ? Thank u

My doctor wants to try topomax to get some weight off. Iv stopped losing weight n gained quite a bit I'm hungry all the time . So he suggested topomax ..anyone use it with the band n seen results?

That's what I told him but he said my results say everything is flowing fine. N I told him of course the barium is gonna go down fine it's liquid.. iv been really arguing with this guy n he won't give me a referral yet so I'm screwed n I can't afford out of pocket and he's the only doctor covered in my plan that I can get to.. but I Def think I need an adjustment

So the doctor told me to give the staff the name n number of the bariatric surgeon so I need but than they told me they need the doctors IPN# and diagnostic code.. huh? Why does my pcp need that from the doctor I'm trying to get a referral to

I do zumba twice a week and gym twice a week

did u have the band while on the meds? Also what side affect did u notice.. did it change the way food tasted?

I don't Currently have a surgeon n my primary did a barium swallow n upper gi testing .. he's told me everything is fine even tho I know it's not cause I throw up n get stuck on almost every meal I can't eat meat anymore cause it gets stuck no matter how long I chew it or how slow. He keeps telling me its all in my head.. I measure my food eat throw up than finish. 30min later I'm shaking stomach growing I'm so hungry .. he doesn't wonna give me a referral cause he said all my testing is fine. So he wants to try other methods.. I have state insurance right now n this is the only primary doctor I can get to in network

So my primary care doctor had me do and upper gi barium swallow before referring me to a bariatric doctor.. my results came back perfect he said everything's fine.. n I'm telling him everything isn't .. I throw up alot and I'm not losing weight I'm hungry all the time things always get stuck n im tired of the battle. He said well the band is functioning perfect . He said he's just me n I have to eat slower.. I do sometimes it takes me 1.5 hours to eat a small meal cause I get stuck ..so he said again its all me n that he will proscribe me medication to CURVE MY APPITITE. Now doesn't thay defeat the purpose of weight loss surgery.. I'm really annoyed with my regular doctor

My doctor who did my surgery was almost 5 years ago and they aren't taking me back due to nonpayment .. I couldn't afford this crazy bill they gave me n I wanted to do payment but they wouldn't agree on the amount that I could afford per month so they dropped me as a patient but I still paid them off.. went to a diffrent doctor and got an adjustment like 2.5 years ago and was ok for awhile N this past year has been a food battle .. I havnt had insurance for a year due to switching jobs but now I have state insurance because Obama requires it.. When I got pregnant in 2010 my doctor emptied my band and I gain 50lb got it tightened again when my son was 6 months n make like 5 lbs here gained 5 lbs there .. its a battle

No money tight . Plus if he wants to do an adjustment that like 600 out of pocket

Unfortunately he's the only one around who takes my insurance I have state insurance

Even when I was swallowing the barium it was backing up I had to go super slow I told the tech but they didn't care ..

I told him I think I need an adjustment n he said no ur results say everything is going down fine.. I didn't tell him I wanted it removed I said I wonna see someone who specializes in it can adjust it or do more testing
