    Attn bandsters with slippage

Off and on the whole 7 months. After an adjustment it will be ok for a week or so and then it will gradually get worse. Most of the time I can only eat between 11-5 and anything outside of that is just not going to go down. And then it gets to the point where I can't eat anything for 2 or 3 days.

Well I couldn't keep anything down, not even water, for 7 days. During those 7 days I was constantly nauseated and felt pressure in my stomach around my band. Last night I read lots of forums and realized that was probably what was going on and the doctor confirmed my fears this morning.
  4. I just got back from the doctor and found out my band has slipped. My doctor is scheduling a surgery 2 days from now to replace it. My problem is I'm not sure if I want it replaced or completely taken out. I've had the band for a little over 7 months and it has been a constant struggle. I'm not sure I want to keep fighting it, but I'm also terrified that if I have it taken out I will just gain all the weight back. So my question to you all is: Is it worth it to have it replaced? And did it fix your problems once it was replaced? Help!
  5. I had my surgery back in January and have yet to quite get the hang of things. I did a little research and I think what I'm experiencing is sliming. But I do it all the time. Like I can't eat or drink anything to get stuck to begin with because I can't get anything down. This happens a lot and sometimes for several days at a time. I am currently on my 3rd day of not being able to get down anything but a few sips of Water. I've been going through this for 7 months now and it would be wonderful if anyone had any insight into what is going on!
