Thank you all for the encouraging words and advice!!! It really makes me feel good. Today I have my breathing test to take...What is that all about?:thumbup:

Well it is official....I am taking the most important step of my life and I am extremely nervous and excited. I have mentally been on this weight journey for 20 years, trying everything. I have had some success and definitely some disappointments. Finally made the decision to take care of me, especially since I took the BPI profile and it labeled me "morbid obese". Seriously!!! :smile:. I knew I was heavy, but never really consider me truly fat because I have always been extremely health (at least for now):w00t:. Does that sound crazy? Anyway, I have been good all my life to everybody, but I forgot about my star player - me!!. That is why I am so excited and ready to see my healthy, skinny self again. It has been twenty years!! Well I am taking all my test and now we have submitted to the insurance company for official approval. It looks like surgery is schedule for April 23rd. The one thing that was truly important in this process is family and friends. I am so grateful that they understand my need to do this for myself, especially my biggest fan - MOM!!! That support in itself is a huge relief. Now I can do this with a peace of mind.:smile2: Well wish me luck and many blessings on this journey. Definitely will be sharing alot. Much Love

Totally understood!!, but dont forget about your star player in this process ---YOU!!! We give so much to everybody else, itis time for us to love ourselves the same way. I really understand about being overwhelmed. I am too, but I am just reading and taking everything one day at a time. :smile2:

Thanks for sharing your story!!! I am so, so excited that I finally got up the nerve to do something about my health. I am 39 years old and reality really hit me that I am older and it is time to get my life in order so I can continue to live long and enjoy my family life... That part in your story that caught my attention is the two week liquid diet. That part scares me to death :w00t:. I am sitting here wonder, can I truly survive on liquids for two weeks? :smile2:. I gues that is the old me talking, huh? It appears that you are doing well and taking all the right steps to ensure success early. Congrats!!!
