  1. I just read your post my dear I was right there with you. And things didn't start to feel really great until 2.5-3 weeks out for me, I was super tired, couldn't drink, and threw up every day. The reason I tell you this is...I kept getting on the boards and reading about people saying what an easy surgery this was and how great they felt. I started to get angry at the situation and myself that things weren't going better for me. But please, hang in there. It is just really gonna suck for a while. You just lost 85% of a MAJOR organ. Then to top it off the things that make us heal like protein and hydration are really difficult to get in, but you will! I know you will. Get through these first few weeks and just treat it like you are still a patient. Follow the rules to the letter, think of those sutures inside of you, and you will get through. Do everything you can to get fluids in and please continue to reach out if you need support. It really does get better.
