Cindysmom (Ilene)

I had the surgery Feb 2, 2010, I was an out patient. It took 4 hours from start to finsh. I was not in pain because I took the pain pills every 4 hours so I would not have any. I walked immediatly that night and nightly after that. I have been losing weight, but slowly. I do not have a Drs support group and had to join groups inside the computer and outside I picked everyones brain for help. EVERY one has been help full to me. I am happy that I did this. I am 62 years old and older than the usual patient for this surgery.

It is 2 years and 4 months since the surgery. I have lost 91 lbs. So happy. I am maintaining my weight but also losing monthly. I am now in size 12-m. happy, happy happy.
